Customer Inspection Representative (all genders)

Your missions
The CIR represents the Customer (aircraft owner) and is the interface with the OEMs during the aircraft final assembly process: Technical (airframe, engines, and systems), Cabin equipment and aircraft acceptance then delivery
  
  • Represent and support the Customer for each FAL Presentation/Inspection 
  • Participate as the Customer Representative during the FAL coordination meetings with Airbus
  • Coordinate with the Airbus Customer Manager and FAL Customer Manager (FCM)
  • Follow the QLBs, Concessions and deviations  
  • Ensure corrective actions are taken immediately during the presentation or recorded tracked and closed at a later date
  • Generatetimely and accurate Inspection Reports  
  • Attend, upon request, to presentations as defined by the Customer
  • Provide technical assistance during the delivery and acceptance phase

Your profile
Training – Experience
  • Customer Inspection Representatives qualifications and experience
  • EASA Part 66 B1 Licensed Engineer (or equivalent)
  • A320 qualified (desirable)
  • Base maintenance experience as inspector (desirable)
  • Aircraft Production Line Inspector (desirable)
  • More than 10 years aircraft production, engineering or maintenance experience
Related Knowledge: 
  • Excellent technological aeronautical knowledge (aerodynamics & flight controls, general technology, structure, aircraft systems, avionics & electrical installations)
Expertise:
  • Knowledge of the aeronautical environment (security, safety and quality measures)
  • Intercultural skills and customer minded
  • Good organizational skills
  • Autonomous – can work without supervision
  • Familiar with computer programs: MS Office programs, SAP, and Airbus internal tools (Zamiz, Tandem, ACPnG, IBM etc.)
  • Knowledge of the follow-up tools (TLB, QLB, etc)
  • Have Customer-oriented approach (listening, offering support and deliver on time)
  • Familiar with measurement tools: Voltmeter, multimeter, gap gun, etc.
  • Ability to detect, report non-conformities and make sure they are corrected
  • Familiar with report writing (accurate and straight to the point)
  • Good Communicator
  • Flexible and good at stress management
  • Fluent in English: spoken and written
